ABOUT DENNIS ZASLONA Hi, I'm the one on the sofa. The beast with the hypnotic eyes and smiling for the camera is Robbie (he doesn't write). I've written an adult thriller 'Beneath the Poison Tree', some TV situation Comedy and a TV drama. But you won't have read or seen any of my work, because no one wanted to buy it! But, this has all been good experience and preparation for what I now know I really want to do, which is to write novels for children. Secrets and Ghosts is my first real attempt at a children's novel. Prior to being edited, S&G came 14th in the Times/Chicken House Competition, has won an Orion review through the Youwriteon web site and has been featured on local BBC radio. The opening extract was also 'Highly Commended' in the Winchester Writer's Conference 'Writing for Children' Competition. Secrets and Ghosts is now edited and ready to face agents or publishers who might be interested in reading the work. |

Meanwhile, the next project is under way. 'Rescue Quest' will feature two
children, Paul and Kelly, who team up with a popcorn eating, Sky Sports
watching alien called Derek, to try and save the world from destruction.
